Woon Yeat Por is currently the Project Director of Sanbumi. In 1990, he obtained his Bachelor of Science (Housing, Building & Planning) with Honours Degree from University of Science, Malaysia and Master of Business Administration from the same University in 2006.

He is responsible for the planning, budgeting and execution of projects for the company. He has 29 years of working experience in the construction and property development industry in the east coast and northern region of Malaysia.

He started his career as a site Quantity Surveyor in Ho Hup Construction Sdn Bhd in 1990, in Mudajaya Construction Sdn Bhd in 1991 and in Bridgecon Engineering Sdn Bhd in 1993. In his 5 years tenure with these companies he was involved in the North- South Interurban Expressway projects and a high rise residential project. He continued his career in the property division of Ban Hin Lee Group in 1995 before he joined Malvest Group in 1997 until 2015. He has vast experience in the development of various commercial, residential and hypermarket development projects in Pulau Pinang as well as in Kelantan State with Malvest Group.

He joined Iconic Iconic Worldwide Sdn Bhd in 2015 as the General Manager and was responsible for the group’s overall business operations. During his 3 years tenure there he has successfully led the team in completing the 4-star Iconic Hotel in 2016 and Iconic Skies, a luxury condominium project in Relau, Pulau Pinang in 2017.
